Hey family!
This week was seriously intense! in a good way! This week has probably
been the week that we have done the most work since I've been here. We
have been finding lots of solid new investigators, and setting a lot
of baptismal dates. We met this one older lady named Leonor Casillas,
and she is incredible. She met the missionaries over fifty years ago,
read the entire book of mormon, gained a testimony, and has been
waiting for the missionaries to come back ever since then! It is
amazing to see how prepared she is. When we think about it, it's
really the Lord that helps people be prepared for baptism, we are only
there to help! Things have also been going well with our nine year old
investigator Paolo. His whole family is reactivating and coming closer
to the church. And last but not least, we have the Cereceres Family,
and all three of them are just golden. It wont be long before they are
baptized as well. Our ward has really been helping us out tremendously
lately, in so many ways. I blame it on our ward mission leader though.
Also, things with me and Elder Bishop have gotten a little bit better,
so we will see what happens at transfers! So basically, there are a
lot of good things going on down here!
So tranfers are next tuesday, so probably dont send anything to the el
paso address until I find out if I am leaving or not. But I did get
Dad's letters, Nathan's awesome paper airplane, and that great
package! thank you for all of that, and I hope to be writing back to
you guys soon! My favorite part of the package was definitely Tylers
band concert program. So many good memories! And I am so happy that I
have a brother doing something that I loved so much too! You rock
Tyler! And of course the rest of you too! I am soooo sad to hear about
shadow though. She will definitely be in my prayers, I hope she can be
found! I also got that letter from stevie! west virginia huh? sweet!
if you guys see him, tell him that a return letter is already in
progress! Also, I definitely appreciate those emails from adam, and
also the bulb. its good to hear about how all those guys are doing.
Anyways, I have to go, but I wish you all luck in your last week of
school! thanks for the picture too! hasta luego!
Elder Jacob Hatch
